Site Friends

I have been a member of this site for seven years although I've not been active here for the past two. Over the years I have met several myLot members all of whom have enriched my life with their friendship. My 'away' years were spent at a well known 'bubbly' site where I made a few new friends. Tomorrow I shall meet one of those for the very first time. She and her husband are over from Australia and are travelling around Europe in their motor home and want to visit me at the Cathedral. I am overjoyed to met some new friends and am looking forward to it immensely. If all goes well I might even write about it tomorrow evening, after I've persuaded her to start writing here too that is.

Keep inviting. I am glad you get to meet a few online friends. Who ever said that is not a real friendship? In some ways it seems we talk more here than I do with anyone in town.

Really it is exiting and new to meet online friends, so you got the chance to meet mylot online friends. I have also met with two online friends from mylot site 2 years back one is male and another is lady the male from Sambhalpoor, Odissa state and the lady from Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh. Both are treated me good and enjoy some talks and snacks with them.

I've been a member here since 2002. Although I started a new account a few years ago. My best friends and I all found each other on facebook, years ago. Most of us have drifted apart but are still on each others friends list.
I've never met anyone from online, hopefully some day.

The only time I was blessed with meeting a MyLotter was in 2013. I met @Professor2010 when he was traveling back from my town to his home town. Sadly he is no more today, but as I mentioned on other discussions, meeting him, I never felt that I was meeting him for the first time. It was so warm a meet, that it seemed we had known each other since ages.

I was in old Mylot also.There I had lots of friends.I had invited many of them,but they never came.They were foreigners.On the other hand, some of my friends were living in nearby towns and villages.They too never came to visit me.However I should not blame them.Leaving home only to visit friends is not easy.My friends also had invited me,I could not visit them.

Hiya honey! I'm BACK!!! I can't promise I'll be here as frequently as I was in the beginning. I have met one person who lives near me - Kashigurl lives about 5 miles from me, but I haven't seen her since I met her and didn't get to go see her sing with her band just down the road last weekend because I had no one to take me to go see her (and didn't have money to even buy one drink). But, she was everything she'd appeared to be in her writing and it was a great meeting!

Welcome from me as well to Judy - not sure who she is but I might if I see her nickname.
As you know I have been a member about just as long as you have (may 2007 if memory serves right) following the same pattern of a 2 years absence when the site went twitterish (with no income).
We might meet eventually as well, as I live here in the UK now, but let me know what city/town you are in :)

Well, hello, Steve!! I just stumbled across your name by chance. I've been on this site a bit over a week and really enjoying it. I hope we'll see you here from time to time. We both enjoyed meeting you at Salisbury. How's the study going?
