I thought these were real cute Costumes How about a Burger King or McDonalds outfit or some other fast food costume. How about a Kentucky Fried Chicken costume. I think it would be different. If you have children what do they want to dress as? If you dress up what will you dress as?

Witch is my favorite as well! It's easy to make the outfit and get some nice accessories to fit the concept. And I always wear a black dress under the costume so if it gets really warm, I can take off the costume and still look like a witch..

Rose, I would let you borrow my broom but today it knocked me right off in mid air and the only thing that saved me was Superman who came to my rescue.

I like those costumes, they are really cute I don't dress up for Halloween, but in the past I celebrated the Danish version of Halloween. I have been a leopard, a clown, a christmas tree, and probably other things that I don't remember. I liked the christmas tree costume the best

What do you do in Denmark for Halloween, evidently you do dress up and do you go door to door and say trick or treat or do you do something different. A leopard, clown and a Christmas Tree sounds exciting. Don't think I have ever seen anyone dress as a Christmas Tree.

@Porcospino That sounds like so much fun and eating a special type of cake now they receive coins or candy. Thanks as it is always interesting to know how other countries do on Holidays or Special Days like Halloween.

@Marcyaz The Danish version of Halloween is called Fastelavn. The children dress up and go from door to door. Instead of saying "Trick or treat" they sing a song. Translation of the song: "Fastelavn is my name, I want cakes, if you don't give me cakes I will make trouble" or something like that. We eat a special type of cake at Fastelavn, and in past the children received cakes. Now they receive coins or candy.

Those both sound like fun costumes, when I was younger I dressed either as a gypsy or a hobo and had lots of compliments on both costumes. That of course was back in the day.

You could be a pirate, clown or any number of things. Lots of costumes or you could make your own.

For Halloween, I actually plan on dressing up as a character from one of my favorite video games, League of Legends. Here is an example of what the costume looks like!

I would dress up as a witch. I like some of the costumes they have out not. Not all are ugly and scary looking.

My grandson loves the super heroes. I think the ones you make up yourself are the most fun. When I was young Iys went as a gypsy. My mom had lots of jewelry and that was fun. My daughter likes to go as either a witch or a vampire. My granddaughter was usually a witch too. With a few things like a hat and a long flowing gown it can be a fun one to do the make up on. We have a costume shop here that is fun to go look around in. But we just get ideas never rent any of them. We might buy vamp teeth or a witch hat or something but that is all.

Sounds like you have your home made costumes. That is what we always did also we made our own. I never did buy a costume from a store. It is fun to make your own and there are some good ideas for them.

My daughter usually likes to be a vampire lately. My son was into Halloween more a few years ago. Now he don't care much. After all, he is 14 now. And it is not cool for him anymore. Years ago me and a few of my friends dressed up as KISS. It was real cool and we all looked good.

@inertia4 I always liked the hobo also and would wear a pair of waist size 42 pants with a rope and a mans flannel shirt. So funny...

@Marcyaz The hobo costume was always the standby one when I was a kid. If all else failed, the hobo it was.

I would choose the Burger from your picture! It super funny and cute at the same time! Does this mean that I can eat as many hamburgers as I want on that day without feeling guilty about my diet?

Dress up like the burger and you can eat as many hambugers as you want and to heck with the diet for that day. Hey when you do drop some pounds send them by way as I could use a few extra.

Love the photo! I don't have any young children but we do dress Bella up sometimes. She has a hot dog costume that is hilarious.

I think those are really fun costumes and must have taken ages to make. It seems that the dogs actually enjoyed dressing up. At least one is smiling and the others look rather smug. I don't dress up (because Hallowe'en has only quite recently taken on the significance and party element that it has in the States) but, if I did, I'd have to be a large, spooky OWL!

I don't think I've dressed for Halloween since 1989-and I forgot about it, until someone posted proof on FB a couple of months ago! Our daughters are grown now, so we dress our dog, Yoda. This past year, I found a blue shark costume-and he did wear it for a couple of hours (and greeted Trick-or-Treaters). But my favorite costume was a couple of years ago-he was dressed as Yoda. Unfortunately, most costumes are made for dogs with longer legs than he has, or less fur, or a bigger head. My dream is to dress him and my husband as Charlie Brown & Snoopy...but so far, my husband is not too keen on the idea....
