Being Blessed Over And Over

Good afternoon my friends here in myLot land. I just wanted to share with you what God has been doing in our lives. It seems that He has been pouring out His blessing upon us. For quite a long time we have been struggling financially. It just seemed every time I got paid it would go out to bills and food. And yet we still had many needs to be met like car repairs and personal needs. God has provided me with a new job. One that pays more, is closer to home and better benefits. We were blessed Friday to have received two pay checks at the same time. One from my old job, and one from my new one. I was able to get our car fixed for a lesser price than expected, and our other one inspected. I had the money to get new eye glasses. $20 off the regular price and a second pair free of charge. People from my wife’s bible study blessed us with a lot of food, and will be bringing up some home grown beef. We had a family get together with my wife’s brother who she has not seen in years. I can’t wait until tomorrow to see what else God has planned for us. I am so thankful for His provisions. Although we were struggling we had reached out to others that were worse off than us. And it is a blessing to be able to help others in need. God said you will reap what you sow. I would encourage anyone that has the means to help those who are needy. Most towns have a local food bank that you can donate to. Just an idea. If there is someone local you could help would you? Remember what goes around comes around! God Bless you all

I remember when I was 10 years old, I was coming out from school after the day was over. There were several people waiting for their children, and nobody had noticed the brown shiny purse lying near the stairs. I picked it up and asked whose was it? No one said anything, and I assumed the person had left. So I gave it to the reception. The next day, my mom was waiting for me outside the school with a big box of chocolates. I was very surprised, since she had never done that before, I asked what was the matter. She said that the lady to whom the purse belonged recovered it that day from the reception, apparently there was a lot of money inside it. So she had thanked me by the chocolates. I didn't get to see the lady, but I realised that every good deed has a really satisfying and happy ending. "You shall reap what you shall sow" I did enjoy the chocolates very much!

@ria1606roy You are exactly right we will reap what we sow. It is one of God's laws just like the law of gravity what goes up must come down. Thank You Lord for You're many blessings in our lives. You are worthy of all praise Lord. I pray for a special blessing for Ria Roy, in Jesus name

God has really blessed you and that fantastic. Sometimes we don't realize that God is working in our lives until we the results of what we had prayed for. I, too, am struggling financially. I am having a hard time paying my bills, and some of them I just haven't had the money for. It has been rough, but I know that God will bless me in spite of it. In all situations God is therre, and good does come out of it. God is good all the time. All the time, God is good.

@Rosekiss You are absolutely right God is good all the time. All the time God is good. No matter what the circumstances may be. He remains good all the time. He is for us not against us. Satan on the other hand hates us and brings all kinds of attacks our way. We just have to remember "greater is He that is in us than he that is in the world."

@Butchcass4 You are absolutely right. Satan is trying to get me to turn my back on God, but I refuse to do that. I know the financial problems i am having are coming from Satan not God. Sure he premits it and could stop it, but it keeps me grounded and focused on him. I know I will do okay though, as God is by my side, and is always with me.

@rosekiss You are right Satan has come to steal, kill, and destroy but Jesus came that we might have life and have it more abundantly. The peace that God gives us is that peace that passes all understanding that guards our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. Greater is He that is in us than he that is in the world. One day very soon it will all be over and we will go home for eternity. We are sojourners just passing through, this is not our home it is a temporary dwelling. Just think of being in the Lords presence for all eternity. You know that song; "Turn your eyes upon Jesus look full in His wonderful face and the things on earth will grow strangely dim in the light of His glory and grace" We need to live like Jesus said one day at a time. Sometimes one moment at a time. We're not promised tomorrow when never know when our time here on the earth is up. But personally I hope it's real soon.

Yes, just like you I faced difficult times before and God blessed me with a job that I enjoy doing so much. And I am always blessed by friends who always treat me breakfast, lunch or dinner and I in return would bless others the same way. I am sure God has a lot in store for you. Stay blessed always.

@BACONSTRIPSXXX Sometimes we don't so easily see His blessings but if we ask for eyes to see He will open them and show us someone worse off than we are and we come to realize just how spoiled we really are. I think of all the people who'll go hungry tonight or won't have a home let alone a bed to sleep in. There are multitudes in this shape. God have mercy upon them and show us how we can make a difference, one person can make a difference really!

Thank you. Although this article is nearly 2 years old. The blessings from God is what I wanted to share. He is so good to us and continues to bless us. However, I can also say we've had our fair share of trials, but He always see's us through them and it makes us stronger. This job is a swing shift job and is challenging for my husband. We are praying for a job within the company that he would be on days and off weekends so he can go to church.

Great! I completely agree with your thought. Positive attracts positive, good attracts good, happiness attracts happiness. It takes a little effort to bring things in line, just a positive thought each day. Hope you reap benefits of your positivity forever

Jesus is the One behind any positivity in my life for nearly 30 years. He is my inspiration to live, before I knew Him I wanted to die as life was too hard for me. As I grew up in a very dysfunctional home with violence and drinking by the time I was 15 I was on an anger run. I hated my parents. Well after I asked Jesus into my life that all changed. My parents ended up becoming Christians too. My Dad went home to Jesus about 5 years ago. We didn't end up getting very close but I was able to forgive him because of Jesus
