Plantar Fasciitis?

So I've talked about this elsewhere, but I think I might have Plantar Fasciitis in at least one foot if not both. I get that horrible heel pain from the moment I get up in the morning, and it gets better for awhile if you walk on it, but starts getting worse again as the day goes on. I finally put aside enough to go to the podiatrist next week. Anyways, I found these Plantar Fasciitis Therapy Wrap thingies, they are like ankle/heel wraps, but not as tight. They came in the mail today and I immediately put them on. Surprisingly enough, they seem to be helping... but I don't get why. there is so little to them! I am not going to knock this, since any relief is relief. I also have a bootie coming in that I can sleep in to stretch my toes back towards my leg to help, and one of those nubbly foot massagers (I cleaned house for a family member over a long weekend and she paid me in stuff like picking out some things I needed, so woo, foot stuff). I have read and read on this, and I guess I just don't get it, nor do I get why some of this stuff works! Have you heard of it, or suffered from it, or know someone who has or did? What did they learn? What worked for them?

I've not heard of this, it sounds very unpleasant. I hope the podiatrist can help you.

The ankle wraps did help more than I realized. When I got home I took them off and washed them, (they are drying now), and just a few minutes later that foot is already hurting more than it did all day!

@Jessicalynnt oh no. I'm sorry your going through that. Maybe I will try them. I'm game to try anything these days. Especially since I have taking up walking.

@taramarie39 Amazon had them for fairly cheap, and I guess I will be getting a second pair becuase at least for now I need them on most of the time, and they need time to be hand washed being on my feet and all

I have that, too. Good arch support and decent, pricey shoes help. I've had a bad flare up this week but life goes on- I must feed Peter burro! Last Friday I considered again the idea that I should be using a cane as I walk our property.
