Traffic cone madness

Preston, England

It is bad enough that traffic cones breed faster than Tribbles and take over our streets even where there appear to be no road-works, but why so many drunks take to walking round wearing them as wizard’s hats is beyond me. It is mildly amusing the first time you see it but after a hundred times it just shows zero imagination is another effect of inebriation.

It's so annoying when travelling on the motorways when they have whole sections coned off, with not a workman in sight. I agree about the silly drunks.

Wearing it as a hat... I don't know my reaction if I saw one drunk with that hat in front of me

They are generally easy to ignore and walk past as they are so caught up in their own game they don't notice everyone looks at them with 'oh how pathetic' expressions.

This is a common habit in Italy, zillions of cones and nobody working on the streets.

And they're also selling them on Amazon for less than $5. For all we know it's only a matter of time before they start a Cone-hat club.
