Do you ever feel the need for a friend on sites like these?

I always look out for a friend on writing/earning sites. I like to get personal with some people.. I am very selective though. How about you do you make friends easily ? Do you look forward to meeting them everyday?

I wouldn't say I make friends easily, but I do tend to make friends at almost all the places I go. Once I make a friend, they usually a friend for life. Oh I wouldn't say I am selective, maybe a little picky. They have to have a sense of humor of some kind, for me to want to interact with them.

@sofssu I don't have a very good sense of humor especially crude humor, I was raised around that type of joking and it was a huge turn off for me.

I have made some online friends over the years that I have now met in person. But I am happy to have virtual friends that I am not personally close to, as well. I am not really someone who likes to get too personal, lol.

@sofssu I know, I am just awful. Nothing I can do about it. I am Danish. My ancestors came from cold and harsh places. It's in my DNA.

I too had made some friends on myLot but when the site stopped paying ,almost everyone left. Now that I have returned to myLot, I have already sent a bunch of e-mails to all my friends to wake them up from their deep slumber. And I hope to make many more new friends now.

Over the years I've come to know some people really well, as we've roamed from place to place. It's nice seeing familiar names and faces pop up here and there.

@valmnz I agree.. Its good to have friends and familiar people on all sites. That is one advantage of writing online you get to meet the same people everywhere.

I don't feel the need to such friends But I also don't mind I like making friends in here its a new dimension Also you get to interact with people of different countries hence gaining lot of knowledge

@jaboUK I agree I made a great friend during my first year online we have been friends since then.. though he doesn't write online anymore. I have made other friends who have stuck around me for some seven years or so. Its always fun to find like minded people though we may lives continents apart.
