The park will be all in purple this week-end.... / myLot

The walk for research of pancreatic cancer is this weekend. The park where it takes place will all decorated in purple and all people entering the walk will wear purple. Should be festive. Anyone know of someone who has or had this cancer. My dad was misdiagnosed with stomach problems when all a long he had this horrid and aggressive cancer.

My step dad's mother just got diagnosed with it. It's sad and hard watching her be in so much pain..

We're having a purple weekend here next weekend, but it's a Memory Walk, for Alzheimers.

One of my dear friend has it and has been told that he is terminal. He is just 47. He has a child in middle school and one that just graduated. It tore apart his family and it really is hurting him. He was at first told that it was no big deal and just a stomach issue. Doctors can be idiots sometimes.
