Pre-owned or re-furbished

Hi Mylot Friends,
I am seeing about this Pre-owned word in online sites like Amazon, boost and ebay. I am finding that the phone is Pre-owned what is the meaning of it? It is new one or used phone? I and also seeing the laptops, tablets and phones of refurbished what is the meaning of it is those phones are working like new phones or it is working as used phones. Share your experience please

Yes pre-owned means it is used or previous purchased. Another term is out of the box. Re-furb can mean anything from dusted off to the entire working of the item have been replaced. Say it was returned but what was wrong was the charger was broken. Replacing the charger with a good one would be re-furb because it is illegal to sell as new. Sometimes refurb come with warranty sometimes not.

Thanks for the comment, I know that some sites are offering warranty for re-furb good also. But how far they are safe in purchasing and using?
