Tattoo!!!

I am wondering what people think about them. I am NOT thinking about getting one. I hate them with a passion. I think that they are a waste of money, gaudy, and they make someone who isn't trashy, look very much so. To me, they are a blemish to skin. I wonder if most people who have them, regret it.

I am "old school" : when I was 20 people having tattoos were tough guys who had spend half of their life in jail
. I see now young girls tattooed
. Some tattoos are nice, but I would never put on my skin something that I would have to keep all my life. It is a personal choice, but not mine.

Worst part there is if the tattoo were incorrectly painted.Hahah! I gave a ,ot in the net.

I am also of the same views. To me tattoos are useless and they do not serve any purpose and instead spoil our beautiful God gifted skin. It is waste of money also and people who go for tattoos simply wants to attract attention of others.

@MinePearl i have tattoos and love everything about them. i don't see them as a blemish on my skin but as a piece of my life that i wanted to display and carry with me. i did it for me and not for the attention of anyone else. my tattoos are mostly hidden and most people wouldnt know i have them unless i go out of my way to show them. As for the pain that varies from person to person. none of my tattoos hurt me in the slightest. one of my tattoos was actually really soothing and i was falling asleep while it was being done

My husband and I both have tattoos. Neither of us regret getting ours, but I can understand why people may not like them. I think some tattoos are really well done, and the person has put a lot of meaning behind them. Those ones I really like. However I know some people (I wont name names) have put no thought into their tattoo and the person who did them didn't do a good job. That's just really bad, if you ask me.

I don't think the skin is designed for drawing or sketching. Why would I stain the clear and clean skin that God gave me? Well if others do it on their skin, it is their prerogative but me... I simply don't see anything good or pleasing about tattoo.

I have seen some tattoos that were beautiful. I think it has a lot to do with the choice and location. I don't have any and will never get any. I think there is a place for art and it just isn't on the body.

i disagree. i think the body is a perfect place for art. i just think that some people get tattoos done for that sake of getting them. tattoos are another way for people to express themselves and i'm all for self expression in whatever way an individual sees fit for themselves

I do not like that tattoo above at all! I also don't like tattoos in general. No offense to those who have them, but I honestly think they cheapen the way a person looks.
