Which Celebrity would you like as a Neighbor

I would like to have Richard Thomas and his wife as my neighbors. Just a little about Richard he has triplets by his first wife and he is a grandfather. He played in The Waltons as John Boy Walton for a long time and won some awards. He also played in twelve angry men as jurior #8 and he was the one holdout who thought the defendant was innocent. It was a coveted role that launched Sydney Lumets career as a director. Richard was diagnosed with Cochlear Otosclerosis a hearing condition. He is a Spokesman for The Better Hearing Institute and he is a strong advocate for raising awareness for hearing health.

I would not to like at all to have a celebrity as neighbor. I like quiet and piece and the idea to have someone who attract fans and could make a nuisance it's not an attractive idea.

@mkg123 I agree, a beautiful garden, a park, a nice pond or a lake are much better than a celebrity.

I want to live peacefully without a flock of journalists and some bodyguards near my home. I am already enough disturbed once or twice a year by people blocking my street to shoot a movie. No celeb for me please.

You don't want any happiness in your life like bodyguards and journalists chasing after you, just think you would become a celeb in your own right.

That's another good reason to not have a big name act. It would be nice to have someone like Joe Vitale, who nobody knows even though many people know a song he co-wrote ("Rocky Mountain Way").

Bill Gates, because that would mean I'm rich enough to live next to Bill Gates!! Seriously, I'd take a musician. I'd honestly not want a "famous" (like Paul McCartney) type but a "working" musician (one like Dale Watson), because they're more down to earth.

@Marcyaz -- and he'd be more open to picking with me in the back yard. I can't imagine knocking on Don Henley's door and saying, "Hey, grab your guitar. Let's throw some chicken and burgers on the grill and pick a little!"

I remember him in the Waltons. I used to love that show. I wouldn't want to live near a celebrity.

I loved the Waltons. He was in a movie with Maureen O'Hara too about a secret box He's a good actor. I didn't know about his hearing problem. I doubt I would like have any celebrity for a neighbor. For one I don't live in a very nice area and for another they would have journalists and such around all of the time. I Brad and Angelina and Cher perhaps, I am sure no one wants Bill Cosby for a neighbor now days.

He is definirely a good actor and I followed him when he played in the Waltons. I think it would be difficult having a celebrity for a neighbor but he is one you never hear anything bad so I think he and his wife would make good neighbors.

Any good singer would do. Condition is music should be on 24/7, 365 days. There was a singer who lived in our building as a tenant for a while. Then he left. We had a great time because he used to sing so well.

I don't mind having a celebrity next door as long as I get to see their movies for free, attend their parties, and go to the Oscars with them.

I would prefer not to have a celebrity neighbour. I am quite happy with the neighbours that I have at present. It is far easier to relate to the average person. Furthermore, we only know the public Persona of a celebrity and have no real idea what the person is actually like.

i'd prefer not to 've any celebs livin' near me. there's quite a few with places here in new mexico - thankfully far 'way from me. i'm sure many 're lovely folks, but i cherish my peace 'n quiet 'n fear that with 'em close by that'd prolly get ruined quickly. but, he sounds like a purty good fella, so not a bad choice i reckon. beats the heck outta one 'f those self-absorbed 'k' folks.

As odd as it may sound, I'd like to have Ozzy&Sharon Osboure as neighbours. They're tamer now, but they used to live a wild life. They'd be good to have over for dinner and share stories with and knowing them there wouldn't be a day that goes by without something at least mildly interesting happening. (Plus, I can play 99% of Ozzy's songs on 2 different instruments. I play, he sings, such fun.)
