Here in our small town we only have one Movie Theater and it is only open Friday, Saturday and Sunday. On Friday showtime is 7pm, Saturday and Sunday showtime is 4pm and 7pm. The cost is $6 and children under 4 are free. The same movie runs for two week ends. Currently we have a movie called No Escape with Pierce Bronson and Owen Wilson. In their new overseas home, an American family father, mother and two children soon finds themselves caught in the middle of a coup, and they frantically look for a safe escape in an environment where foreigners are being immediately executed. Have you seen this Movie? How far would you go to protect your loved ones?

I haven't seen it. I'm more of a horror movie guy. As far as how far I would go to protect my family....well, that depends on which family member. lol

It has been a long time since I have lived in a town with a movie theater. They seem to be an institution that is fading away. I guess with DVDs and streaming movies to our computers not as many people go the the theater any more. I have not seen the previews to this movie but it sounds interesting. I will have to look it up.

This theater as I have been told was closed down until some towns people decided to reopen it. Most of the work was done by volunteers like the painting and someone heard of a theater in another was buying new seats so they called and asked if they could have their old seats. Painting was done also inside and some artist in the town painted some murals on the walls. They have a new projector oh and did I say it is a non profit now. The town wanted some place for families to go for entertainment.

I haven't heard about that movie. I like Pierce Bronson and his movies so maybe I would go and watch it if it was in my neighborhood. I am going to the cinema at least once every month and I always appreciate new suggestions. I can't tell how far I would be willing to go to protect my loved ones, but I am guessing I would do everything possible.

Great and I hope it comes to your theater soon and if you do see this movie let us know what you think of it. I think we all would do as much as we could to protect our families.

It does make you think about what could happen in the world today in fact what has happened and we aren't told about it only about the eggs in the world.

I did not see that movie, but after what you have described, I will definitely watch it. As to going how far, the word applicable for me is "any" (extent).

Only one movie theater? Wow. We have less than we used to have here where I am but there are still many around. And lots of movies to choose from. But, I like it the way it is now with TV. I can basically choose to watch any movie I want right at home.

I havent seen that movie no but bet it is really good. Nice home town theaters are cute. I recall one that was in a small town I lived in once and it was the oldest one in the country apparently.

I haven't been to a cinema for over 40 years, though I've been to live theatre. The prices in your local Movie Theater sound reasonable.

Yep the prices here are very reasonable not like in the big towns but of course they are not open seven days a week either. Even the pop corn and drinks are reasonable.

No, we don't go to movie theaters but wait for the movie to come out on demand.
