Have You Ever Won A Contest On Radio Or A Magazine?

A well known orange fizzy pop drink was running a competition in a large Woolworth Store and the prize was a five foot tall Orangutan which I think was called Clyde. I filled in the form and so did my mum then forgot all about it. I received a call from a local radio presenter live on air to tell me that I was the lucky winner of Clyde. Trust me to win a 5ft orangutan lol...

Actually, it's funny you started this topic. I actually won a competition last month. I entered it earlier this year when I bought a new TV. I was told if I gave my details, I would be entered into a prize draw to win one of a few things like a Stereo System or a Games console. Then, last month I received a call saying that I had won a PS4. So, I confirmed that the call was legitimate. They already had my address on file, and then two weeks later, a UPS van turns up with a brand new PS4. I was rather happy :)

I once won a gate pass of a shoot to the well known Indian, "Kaun Banega Crorepati"-the equivalent of "Who Wants to Be a millionaire". That I did, in an online gaming contest.

@marlina You could have told us what the contest was for lol. I've never entered any on the radio or magazines myself.

No i've never one anything... so now I do not bother doing any.... I don't do the lottery either....

I won a CD once. Another time I won a hamper of CDs. Instead they sent me a DVD of Alice in Wonderland and never explained why. It was pretty good. Alan Rickman, Timothy Spall, Johnny Depp, Imelda Staunton and Francis de la Tour are in it. Love them.

No for I have never joined any contest in the radio. What you have is a good experience.
