A sound you love

At the back of our new property there is a creek. There are lots of tall trees on the bank.
I love the sound when the wind blows through those trees, rustling the leaves. It sounds so peaceful.
I like the different sounds of birds and of tree frogs. Just so many things that we take for granted. They are the undercurrent and sound track of our lives.

I have grown up hearing the little peeper type frogs, and crickets and cicadas on various evenings. Also have heard coyotes howl and cattle lowing at my grandparents. Very little keeps me awake when it comes to nature sounds.

@GardenGerty If you are used to it, that's fine. I think all those sounds you mention would keep me awake.

@GardenGerty
I fall asleep no matter what is howling or what is making sounds.

It is a nice piece of property. I think the area almost always has a breeze.

My favorite two sounds are: The dog snoring and the sound of the filter running in the pool.

We don't have a creek on our property but we do have a small pond not far away. We hear the leaves rustling from the trees on our property which there are a lot. We see many different types of animals from deer, turkeys, toads, ground hogs, rabbits and al kinds of birds. It is so different than living in the city. Up the road our neighbor has horses which we see quite often. Our dogs love to run the fence when the bunnies are out.
