Then What Are You Going to Do for Attention?

It's no secret that Miley Cyrus likes to run around naked and be as naked as possible whenever she appears. Naomi Cambell has just posted a topless photo to Instagram with the hashtag #Freethenipple. There's a big push these days for women to be able to go topless. Because "equality" or something. While pretending that it shouldn't be shocking, celebrity women are constantly posting half nude selfies to get attention because... well, they are trying to shock people. Because that's how you get attention. Remember the old days when you had to get by on your talent? My question is: What if they are successful? What if it becomes the norm for women to go topless whenever they want to? What if a wardrobe malfunction ceases to generate publicity? Then what are people like Miley Cyrus and Naomi Campbell going to do to get attention?

I hate this young girl, it is evident that she has no talent as she is obliged to "sell" her body to get attention. Naomi Campbell at least knows how to do a catwalk.

The thing is, Miley Cyrus is talented. She's a decent singer and can write songs and perform music. But she's opted to go for the shock value rather than be known for her talents. It's pretty sad.

@Rollo1 It is indeed, possibly she thinks that this is the easiest way to success.

I can not stand her. She is doing for attention and she know that such vulgar acts are actually supported by the upper people in power in the industry.

The music producers don't care how badly their talent acts, as long as it brings in more publicity and more money.

I don't know, probably. Everyone cares when a celebrity does something stupid.

As long as the paparazzi keep them in focus for such shenanigans, they surely are not going to give up. It is pretty awful, to do things to keep the limelight on yourself.

@Rollo1 and I used to love Miley Cyrus. I know she wanted people to see her as an adult, but... this was not the way to do that.

I have no idea why they are popular, I have to be careful, I have a 11 year old daughter. She has been taught if you like these girls for their music that is okay, but they are NOT role models. I am lucky, she does not even like their music.

Some kids will see them as role models, though. They pay more attention to celebrities than they do to parents, that's always true. It's hard to bring up kids in this society.
