BBC streaming service is in the works!

BBC is planning a streaming service and I am so happy about it! I read an article but it did not give much detail. I know that there were several shows that I wanted to watch but could not because they only air in the UK. I could not even stream them via the BBC website, which was infuritating.
Hoping that they will be on this new streaming service. The amount of British television I am able to watch is very limited because I have to wait for most to go to HULU or masterpiece theater via amazon instant video.
Anyone else in the US looking forward to this?

I have Acorn TV streaming service, but it's not usually new shows or the current season of shows. It's cheap, though at $4.99 per month. I would have to see what was included in a BBC streaming service. It wouldn't be worth it for just a few shows. You can get Masterpiece Theatre via the PBS website or their streaming channel, however. It streams the day after it airs. The streaming channel is free.

@ScribbledAdNauseum I have Netflix, Hulu, Amazon and Acorn. Acorn is all British TV. But PBS is one of the free Roku channels.

I have three services but only use them sparingly. the BBC thing I would use much more often.

The shows that would stream on this BBC streaming service wouldn't include things like Dr Who, which we can already get in the US.

@jstory07 I haven't found a complex write up of what it will include yet but once I do I will be sure to write about it on mylot :)
