The World Out There is Really Big - Confusions about me and Him/Her

Ever since I and many others returned back to MyLot, there have been messages and comments about my dear capser (on my avatar). What seems to have happened is -
On some other website, there was/is someone who has a name/avatar and many who newbies who arrived here from that website mistakenly took me to be him/her. I never knew I could be that known a face anywhere, but I was proven wrong each time I encountered a PM or someone mentioned it on my response/discussion.
Now with so much of confusion around, I need to change my Avatar. I wanted to opt in for one of the list below -
1. Batman - The one from the Lego Movie - He is so cute on the Trailers 
2. Morpheus (from Matrix) - I find him hot 
with this shaved head and the Dark Glasses
3. Snowman in Red - I normally use that one during the Dec- Jan each year.
4. Me - I had it on sometime in the earlier version but personally, I did not like the snap.
So should I change my Avatar - is the first obvious question.
For those who have known me for a while, can you please come up with some suggestions that would go with the way I have been around...
And for newbies who I need to get familiar to - what do you think should be my avatar.31 people like this

On the resized version (that MyLot follows) this one looks quite apt for me. 
A leader, in chocolate
. Personally, I can go for this, surely.
But there are other chocolate lovers around - and a lot of them - and my only scare is they will feast on the chocos I carry if I go with this Avatar

Going by the consensus, that is what I think would happen at the end 
I needed to reinvent myself, but then, I dont want almost everyone confused. There already had been a confusion over my new pseudonym - from "thesids" to "thebusysids"

@Bluedoll There is no identity crisis with Casper. To me, he is larger than any crisis just because he is the "Friendly Ghost" and not too many of them are believed to be friendly

Is there really a good enough reason to change casper?,,Could you add casper coming out of a cupboard? or wearing those dark glasses?
I really think its up to you but it will confuse me if you do change

I have not known you personally but in this little time that I have known you virtually through your responses, I can see you are someone good with great ideas. In light of this, I highly encourage you to put your own picture.

Honestly though, I am not waiting for you to upload your picture. I think I have already seen you - the person you are. And you are someone good. But if you choose to upload your picture, it will always be good.

Glad to have you on my discussion and this is your first on mine. You have a suggestion that is quite doable for me. So all good. Very very soon. Time I played casper and granted you your wish

Aw, but I like the Casper avatar! I associated Casper with your username already. But let's see...if you choose a new one, make it something that look "busy" then - a bee of some sort? A superhero bee?

I am not sure Casper the friendly ghost from the B-world had the exactly same avatar as yours. You could keep this one....
And if you change, definitely my suggestion would be - it should be you! Batman and all are fine but they can't give competition...

I have met Casper from the other site, but I am surpriced that people confuse you and him. I think that your writing style is very different from his writing style, but maybe people get confused because they only look at your avatar. I remember the photo of you and the snowman in red. I like the snowman a lot, it is cute, but maybe it is more suitable for the holiday season. I think that I will vote for the photo of you (or maybe a different photo if you don't like the other one)

Your response to my discussion means a lot here. First, you rightly point out that many of the people who have commented or contacted me asking if I am that Casper have not mentioned anything about the differences in writing styles, barring one - who said that I cannot be him.
They even have not bothered about two other important things (I think, they should have considered them too) - my username(thesids) and also the pseudonym currently in use(thebusysids) - I am quite sure that the two cannot be the same used by the other casper on the other site.
For now, I have only a couple of days more to keep casper - as on my birthday, I will have my own pic as my Avatar (like every year, I have been here) and probably by the end of September, Casper will be back only to be replaced by Snowman during Dec-Jan. That is what my current plan is. But the majority here suggests me to keep the Casper

That casper seems to say "Won't you take me to, funky town?"..lol. Anyway, I am fine with your present avatar, and like the rest I would have problem in locating you. And you don't give as much choice, do you? I mean, I would have liked Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, and many such characters making to the list. lol. Kidding, but casper is as good as it gets.

Ok, well I am one of the 'newbies'. I really don't know you all that well, but since I been here I have grown to know you as you are. I don't see any reason why you have to change, unless you truly wanted to. If that is the case, then sorry I might not be much help for as I stated at the start here, I don't know you well enough to give any suggestions.

@thesids Ok, this is just my personal opinion. Since the idea of the whole thing is to stop 'confusion' of mistaken identities, I would say go with the 'Me', which is you of course.

Yes, there were such confusions from many. Many PMs and a few even asked me on the discussions. I am not hurt or upset about that. I only want to solve the matters - so that the newer lot arriving may have things simpler
But yes, I do agree, I love Casper too and I personally would not like to change it - at least here at MyLot - I normally change my Avatar thrice a year - Stays during Dec-Jan when I have snowman in red (I love him in that attire), Casper and my own pic.

Choose an avatar that represents you in some way. Right now I am using my photo but plan to change it to one of my dogs are a writing pen and paper.

In fact this current avatar of Casper was selected from the few I had on mind because it reflects my attitude towards life and how I think about it.
I recall you had a different avatar with some dog (if I remember correct) before you put on this original you on the pic.

I like the casper avatar. If you were to change it I would say the Lego Batman is awesome. Of course the snowman will be cute for the holidays.

Hi there, thanks for appreciating the idea of the Batman from Lego the Movie. He is real cute especially in those trailers on YouTube. My favorite is the one where they get in Superman for a second because batman is not keen to do the shot.
And of course, casper has been my Avatar here at myLot since years now. Changing it might confuse the friends - as they know me via my avatar - the Casper and the 4 months where I have that red Snowman

I think it should be something personal for you, maybe a pet, maybe a favorite flower, or your eye, or something that is no one else. I always use this one of me, that took me while to get to where i didnt mind it, so that people identify me as me.
