They have a special on showtime movie channels for $3 a month. I am not one to buy into those things. But, since I can't watch Netflix for a while I decided to go for it. After all I can do a lot worse with $3. I am watching a movie called find me guilty and it's clearly an old darn movie. Yes it's old alright 2006 I just checked the guide. I am going to cancel in a few days. I want to see if they show anything recent over the next few days.

If there is nothing on TV and no new movies on netflix i watch old dvd's. Sometimes I just don't watch TV at all but your right nothing can beat 3 dollars. I buy movies on TV when they are cheap like 1.99 just for something to watch. I wish TV was free also but it can be if you only want like 10 channels but no thanks

It is to hard to get just the local channels anymore. TV should still be free.

With all these repeats it's a shame we have to pay for it. If I did not need wifi I would sure cancel the cable. Wifi is more expensive without cable. here.

It is. You can typically pick up a range of local channels with an antenna. The problem is that the programming "sucks" so people are willing to pay money for "better" channels through cable.

I can't get but a few channels with my antenna. I am surrounded by metal.
