Just another one of those 'B' topic...

I know so many on here are from the other 'B' site. 
So if I post about it, I imagine many can relate.
We all know the site has been abandoned by many and it's very quiet on there these days.
So what on earth is it that still makes me go there?
Perhaps because there still is a bank on there - however slow it tries to move upward. 
Anyway, here are a couple good things I notice for being among the few who are still remained on there:
1. Quietness. I don't like crowd; and I get my peace and quiet while I'm on there.
2. Followers. This may sound strange but true. When the place was so busy with high traffic, I only got in the average of 3 followers a day. (Yes, I actually have a spreadsheet tracking my statistics on there to get this average number). But I notice lately I've been getting more than 3 every day. It seems that it's easier for other bubblers to spot me on there now that the site is empty. I understand if my new followers are newbies who try to build their own number of followers. But get this, I've been also getting long time bubblers (whose bubbles I've been reading for years before) to just now start following me. I guess I was rather 'buried' among the crowd of bubblers before. But since there are only few of us who are active daily on there now, it's hard to miss my presence... 
(Yes, it's funny!)

Funny or sad, I don't know which. I'm a daily visitor, but the maintenance issues are pushing me away.

That is too bad, @Sheilamarie , I go over there all the time and rarely have difficulties with Bubbs!
I don't know what the difference would be between us, either!

Or, @Rollo1 , you could just let some of your new friends know you still have your bubbles up. That way, if anyone is interested, they can wander over once in a while and read your bubbles!
That sounds fairly simple, doesn't it? I think it might just work, too, as long as you aren't too boring! *DE grins and wanders over to read a minute or two on Rollo's bubbles after teasing Rollo for a few minutes.*
Edit: How are you listed on B? I tried @Rollo1 and it didn't bring up anything. Maybe a glitch? IDK...? Thanks hon.

@Rollo1 Have you not read enough of my crap to know that even boring people can be interesting to know @Rollo1 ? I have to be THE most boring man alive, but I love to play and have fun! You need to come join us for a while! Believe me, If I can't jolly you into a good mood, then one group or another of my new friends will! I promise!

I've never heard of that place before! 
It wouldn't be so bad if all those glitchy things stopped! Earlier (for me), the site just would not load, and then there was a good window but I had to leave. Then when I came back, the site was under maintenance. I'm so behind - can't even reply back on my posts half the time!
It is interesting that the group is getting smaller . . . those who didn't hook up before are now friends. It's like Survivor, who will be the last one "writing"? 
I'm still waffling - I'd hate to leave, but well, it's nice that I can find most folks here now!

@DaddyEvil I know, I know - I wish more friends would make the move!! I go there to take a peek every now and then - but whenever I try to do something, it's a failed attempt. I squeeze in what I can - but I can't spend gobs of time there anymore. Which means of course I am getting less quicker to reaching that iffy payout!

I was going back to B because so many of my friends were being .... uhm... somewhat stubborn would be a good pair of words to use here, about leaving the site with the rest of us. That meant if I wanted to see people I loved for years "there", I had to return "there" in order to see them.
I still find myself returning "there" because many of my new friends still have their work on display "there", so if I want to read it, I have to go "there" or ask everyone to send duplicates of their bubbles to me via pm on myLot, which would transfer the pain-in-the-bum part to them, but that would be pretty selfish and mean on my part
*DE stands, deep in thought, until an idea occurs to him.. Without telling anyone what the idea was, DE walks away.* (A bit of suspense, anyone?)

I thought quiet is not good! Are there still a lot of spammers there? I remember getting a lot of "followers" who later turned out to be spam accounts.

@DaddyEvil Hmmm, I might know which spammer that is... Is he using numbers after the username that keep increasing each time he comes right back? The latest number is something like 135 - I've never seen a spammer more persistent.

Yeah, there are still some who keep coming back, but I still report them and their accounts are still being deleted as soon as someone reports them now. I know of at least one that has made many accounts but hasn't figured out who is reporting him, yet... So far, he has attempted to follow me every time, so I just watch for his name in my followers and report him again...

I wasn't and am not laughing about just finding you on b, hon. I don't remember ever meeting you there, if I did. I always tried to keep up with people following me. I also tried to give them more than they give me, like when someone read and commented on one of my bubbles, I read and commented on two or three of theirs, in case it took me a little while to return to them again.
If I knew you there before and ignored you, I apologize, hon. I like to think I wouldn't do that!
I used to go back because I love so many people on B who remained with the site and I have/had no other way to see them. I still have at least one friend who didn't migrate to myLot.
She still believes in Bubbs as well as Arvind and Jason. She is their moderator and can't leave her job.
I have hope that she will join us here, but I don't know that she ever will leave.
I left my bubbles up, so there is still plenty for outsiders to see because, as far as I know, she is the sole bread winner for her family now. I can't see pulling my bubbles down and, in doing so, depriving her of any part of her income.
LOL! Yeah, I do realize how ignorant that sounds, but it is all I have I can offer her to help out. I believe she would do the same if our positions were reversed.

I wish her all the best as well... I've known her since my early days on there. I know she's one of the 'first generation' bubbler, if you will, with her 3-digit member number. And I can see how she'd be chosen as a moderator as it was very clear to me which side she was on after the 'Black New Year's Eve' when I've never seen members so divided as a result. Even good bubblers were at each other throat at the time - it was ugly...

@DaddyEvil Oh no, I wasn't talking about you specifically. I was just commenting about the general atmosphere on there after they dropped the 'bomb' on NYE 2014/15 that ALL redemption made prior to a date in September 2014 were CANCELLED and that the earning algorithm has been adjusted - resulting to significant cut of amount redeemed after the cut-off date and the subsequent extremely slow earning rate.
That news divided members on there like nothing else. Some completely lost faith of the site while others were still giving them chances. Then some members who were bashing the site accused those who were still there as stupid, as sheep, or worse as b*tt-kissers.
Interactions got rather heated up between bubblers over which side they should stand on at the time - that was some 'happy' new year... not!

@sishy7 Hon? Was I one of the people involved in whatever you are talking about in that comment? I don't remember a bad New Year's Eve or anything that happened then... (New Year's Eve of 2013/14 is when I was upset because the site failed to pay me for a bubble, but I didn't think I mentioned it on the site that early on... Did I?

my response seems to h ave disa ppeared okay I stay there on the error prone bubblews as I liked the site for being a great place to write, m ylot is not prone to errors so m uch but so me how it keeps getting rid of my responses thesite is like a tomb now, no wonder do they even care any mo re? angry, confused, like m ylot b ut wish it did not do away with my comments before I finish.

Sorry for your disappearing response - I haven't had such problems on here. Anyway, I can imagine your frustrations on there. They let me in after several tries earlier (only to throw me out again after several pages) on there and I saw your double posts titled "A Saved Post" and "Saved Post".

Patsie? I MIGHT have an explanation for your "disappearing" comments, since I have had that happen to some of mine until I figured out what I was doing wrong...
When you are typing your comment into the space for it, does your mouse pointer jiggle by itself, sometimes? Mine did/does. What is happening is your mouse pointer is jiggling up onto the comment button on the comment right above the box you are making a comment in. When it jiggles just right, your comment is dropped and the new comment box takes its place so it appears your comment simply disappeared.
Do you understand what I am saying here?

Some of the people who left before myLot started paying again, have moved to some of the other writing sites that have continued to pay their writers, like HubPages... I have communicated with several people there I recognized from B.

I used to go back from time to time to check on my friends, but the remaining ones are all here now, so the only page I usually look at is my bank. Not that it ever moves, but I got into the habit of looking in the hope that they'd lower the minimum required to redeem. It's clearly not going to happen though, so I really should delete my remaining posts. I hate the fact that they may still be earning money for a site that cheats it members.

I hate to break this to you, hon, but it is not a maybe that they are still earning from your bubbles, it is a positive that your bubbles are still earning, just as mine continue to be earning... I know I have a lot of off-site traffic on my bubbles! I check the programming and can see the tracks left by the people reading them but not having an account, so can't like or comment on them...
I've left my bubbles up for that very reason... I don't like to think that the incompetent owner(s) are still earning off my bubbles, but I am happy to know I am still contributing towards the salary they are paying their moderator... I hope you will leave your bubbles for that reason, too...
Yes, your bubbles are still receiving outside traffic that WE are not allowed to earn from, but the site still receives those earnings...

Hmm. I wondered how or why I got a few people to follow me recently that I've been following all along. Didn't think about that for a reason. I don't have enough time to be at all the sites I'm now on all the time. I imagine I'll still be back and forth there and elsewhere too for a while until I decide when enough is enough.

For older bubblers, most of them are probably still there to chase the remaining $50, redeem, then waiting to be paid. I'm afraid many of them would not come back once last redemption is paid. And newer bubblers will probably leave soon if they see no incentive to stay. The place is very quiet on there now. If nothing is changed, then it will just get quieter and quieter...

@jvincent_129 The passive income used to be better too. Now if we are not active there, the bank will not budge at all... Good thing, like on here, I've always enjoyed the interaction most on there.
