Dithering in Paris on our way to Mumbai

We have a three hour wait in Charles de Gaulle airport (Paris) before our flight to Mumbai. We've tracked down the free wi-fi in McDonalds - don't scoff, it's a really nice McDonalds - in Terminal 2C and are sipping mango and pineapple smoothies and passing the time. It's the first time we've been to India since they opened up the new eTourist Visa system so we're not entirely sure what to expect. We know we'll need to be photographed (that's going to be ugly after a night flight) and fingerprinted but the actual application was quick, trouble-free and half the price of the old system. We have a nice hotel for the day we arrive so a sleep, a swim and a good meal should make us almost human again. What do you most look forward to after a long flight?

Getting the legs stretched and getting to breathe fresh air are a must after a flight of any kind. Proper food also helps as would a swim. Looking forward to hearing about your trip - I enjoyed your last one!

Just arrived and blagged a very early check in and an upgraded room. About to hit the shower and then have a snooze.

A hot shower, or cool swim, a nice dinner, a relaxing walk to stretch the legs after a long flight

I've only just realised I still haven't had breakfast. Must put that right ASAP

Definitely a sleep or at least a short nap for me before anything else...
