Just Cooked Some Beets And Froze Some

A little earlier this morning, I was busy cooking some beets. Then peeling them which is quite a job when one has arthritis in the fingers. But now, glad it is done. I kept some beets for the week in the fridge and the rest was frozen for the winter. By the way, they are delicious.

I like beets, but I cannot eat them because of kidney stones problem. The doctor told me that beets are among the food to avoid.

@marlina , not at all, I just like that it is not whole slices, but the taste is the same. I prefer grated carrot, and grated onion too.
