Quite a 40-hour span for the Pope

United States
September 26, 2015 6:38am CST
I am a few years (10) younger than Pope Francis and I know I couldn't keep up with him! He was looking a little weary toward the end yesterday but he sure perked up when the 20,000 plus crowd at the Mass at Madison Square Garden gave him a 5-minute standing ovation. I watched as much as possible of his time in New York City and I must say that it appears all activities went off without incident. A big thanks to the NYPD and all associated agencies that protected the Pope and made the trip so worthwhile to so many. Now on to Philadelphia, PA and more huge crowds, actually the crowds there will be even bigger than New York's crowds. I bet he will be looking forward to his plane ride back home on Sunday so that he can relax and remember his time in the United States.

He will be back in wonderful Rome and surely enjoy to sleep in his bed. I love the weather of Rome in September and October.

I haven't seen any of the news about his visit. I don't turn the TV on very often and when I do, it's to watch older shows off air.

Just watched a few minutes in the news. He has a lot of stamina.
