Blisters, blisters being created. Blisters popping one by one. The ugly look of those popping oozing blisters. A horrible sight. One of disgust but concern. Is this something that just happened or is this part of spontaneous combustion? That is a good question. One that needs to be answered and soon. Or should we ask if this is a disease or a plague or some sort of infection. A virus maybe. These questions are what is going through the mind of the medical team that is working on and testing Edward. The man in which this horrible thing is happening to. They are completely baffled by this. It looks like regular blisters, but they seem to bubble and sort of boil. Then they pop. This is something that is happening very slowly. But it has been happening for a few weeks now. That was until he was admitted into the hospital for this. Two weeks ago, Edward was on vacation in the Bahamas. He was one that loved the sun and sand. One that worshiped the sun actually. He went swimming with his girlfriend and another group of friends. They had a blast, a wonderful time. This is when he noticed the first blister forming. But Edward paid to attention to it because he felt it was due to sunburn. As the days progressed one blister looked as if it grew some. Got worse and started to bubble. He was about to pop it himself when it popped by itself. And the oozing of first, a liquid, then a puss. He cleaned it up and put a bandage on it. Figuring it would heal and all will be fine. But that’s not what happened. He and his girlfriend had a wild and passionate night together. And in the morning when he woke, there on his chest was another blister. Fast forward to now, the night in the hospital. Edward has blisters all over his body. There are some just forming and others ready to pop and some that already popped. He was put into a bath with medication to see if it would ease the pain. Nothing worked. Edward seemed as if he was getting cooked or better yet, boiled to death. His girlfriend was tested to see if it was contagious. So far there are no signs of that. This was not happening because of the sun. This was something out of the ordinary. His girlfriend Jessica was an emotional wreck over this. She felt like she was losing him. As the night progressed in the hospital, these blisters got worse and started bubbling and popped. This time it was a horrible sight. They all erupted at one time. The doctors were splattered with liquid ooze and pus. It was that forceful. Edward laid there screaming, the pain was excruciating. but surprisingly there was no blood. Then it happened. The transformation. The doctors were in awe of what they were seeing. Like a Deer caught in the headlights. What was happening to Edward was an impossibility. He started to shed his skin. It started with his head and peeling all the way down to his feet. What emerged was unspeakable. Something not of this world. This being rose from the bed and stood up and looked at the doctors. As he moved toward them it morphed into different creatures. Until it finally morphed into the exact image of Edward. He looked fine and healthy. As if nothing was wrong. He asked for his girlfriend Jessica. As she entered the room, he said, it is done. I am one now. She took him by the hand and led him out. As they reached the door, Jessica turned around and said, “We are what you call aliens. We are called Pleiadians. We are from far away. We are your ancestors. We created you humans in our image. But we have come back to save humanity. We see your kind is barbaric and hurtful. We are peaceful. We will be emerging from humans from now on. You all will be changed in time. This is something what cannot be stopped. None of your hate or weapons will work in trying to eliminate us. This is our world, not yours. We tried for millions of years to show you the way. But you humans just don’t get it. And never will. We had no choice but to intervene. Keep in mind that you will still be who you are. We are not just taking over your bodies. We are implanting the fix, if you will, into your bodies. Sort of like an update on your prehistoric technology. The madness you have created on this planet must end. And end now.” Copyright © 2015 Steven Cetta All Rights Reserved Check for all my Stories here: #inertia4stories Image Credit: CoolText.com Tags: #inertia4 #Pleiadian #Injection #inertia4stories

I think I liked this fiction the best so far. I don't know why. I think it was the icky description at the beginning making me wonder what the blisters were, just to have the story end as a sci-fi. Nice!!!

@inertia4 WOW. You should get some of them up. You can test them to see if you do want to put them in a book together.

@changjiangzhibin89 Well thank you again. I only wish I was a writer. A real writer. I never went to school for this either. I just like the dark side of things and I am a big fan of horror and science fiction. I guess that helps.
