sun breaking through the early morning mist

hello everyone, hope you are all well.
Although I lament the passing of summer, nature softens the blow of entering winter with the visual tour de force that is Autumn. No other season can match it's splendour. Trees become a blaze of fiery colours. Mists and dew cleanse the air and earth, and the sun keeps low in the sky, casting golden light and long shadows.

Autumn really is breathtaking at times. Today's sunshine made the leaves glisten.

HI John welcome here to you! Hmm it was terribly foggy this morning on the way into work although not as bad as it was yesterday! It has been beautiful ever since the weekend and is due to continue for a few more days!

We in the desert generally don't get to see such beauty, it's different here and speaking only for myself I love those grey drizzly morns if we get them, here it's more likely to be crisp blue skies with few if any clouds and as for color in fall, well the desert doesn't have trees. I love this shot you took, maybe you can share some shots of autumn trees?
