A Dreary Day

October first and it is a cloudy-ish day.
The wetnosedogs love it. They like the coolness of it all.
It may be a dreary looking day out there, but I woke up at a decent hour and not later. A body gets used to things and yesterday was definitely not one of them.

And it is dreary, here in Chicago as well! It seems that everyone has been given the same kind of day. It's my poor brother's birthday today lol... so I'm hoping that his is a little better. Sadly, I'm too far away to bake him a cake, but I did call him this morning. Maybe I will bake a cake anyway and we can all eat it on his behalf. ;)

Yeah, according to the weather, we will miss rain but It sure looks close.
