Fall Colors

The weather is changing as are the trees.
The trees are changing from green leaves to Red for their long winters rest.
The weather was 42 degrees when I woke up this morning so we know winter is not far off.
The winter clothing will be coming out of the closet soon and the heat will go on.
There will not be much more mowing of the grass but will have to look at the snow blower and
make sure it is ready for winter.
I have put an extra blanket on my bed as it was chilly to me last night.

Fine so far Marcy not cooling yet.
I prefer the cold though to the heat anyday.
I get over heated too easily.

Hot 97 today..cooler to 87 tomorrow..so we are still stuck with summer weather for awhile..

There is a definite chill in the air over the last few days but it has been nice and sunny. Some trees have started to drop their leaves!

We have rains for the past few days and I'm stuck here in my place. I missed the sun. I want to go out and have fun with my friends.

I like the colours. One tree in particular a maple stands in the front of my neighbours house and it reminds me of our life. There is spring, summer, autumn and winter seasons in our lifetime. It is deeply red.
On another note when I look at the picture provided here in the post of fall and it worries me. What if someone's motor is not strong enough to make that grade?

We haven't cooled off quite as much, but the temps at night have fallen into the upper 50s and the last two day the high didn't reach 70. And the rain we've had. Today makes the tenth straight day of having at least some rain. Just grateful Joaquin decided to go out to sea.

I am trying not to be sad. We had very good weather for months and yesterday it seemed to go crazy. It was like a hurricane on Cape Cod and now we might get a real hurricane. I have gotten out my warmer clothes, my flannel nightgown and put bubble wrap on all of the windows. I know winter is just around the corner - and the huge heating bills.

Wearing pants or jeans instead of shorts or dresses. Raking leaves instead of moving the lawn.

This is my second most unfavorite time of year. I'm a summer person so fall means winter and I hate it. We have had a lot of rain and below normal temps - past years I we were still having hot weather at this time.

It is pleasantly cool here and pretty gloomy cause of thinking of rain. We didn't too cold and not too warm. Just right.
