Rain Rain Go Away

We had planned to go down to our cottage on Tuesday and spend a few days. However, the weather report was so ominous for the entire week that we decided to wait and try to go next week.
We need to get some tree work done and hubby wants to do some fishing. I will spend my time doing what I do at home, writing and doing just a little house work. We can take the dogs with us to the cottage so it is pretty much like being at home.
Do you a a place where you like to get away to?

Yes it is nice to get away from it all. I like the rain anytime over snow.

Well yes, I prefer the rain over the snow but cold rain makes for a poor getaway. lol

@BelleStarr We had rain three days, but only during the night, that was good so I was able to work in the garden during the day.

Our cottage is on a small lake so no beach but certainly plenty of water and quiet views.I do love the beach and the crash of the waves.

I have a friend in Fairmont WV. It is such a pretty state. That is a long drive for you isn't it. We live 3 hours away. Of course we do have the Florida house and that is a long drive.
