I am not sure where I live anymore.

It seems that anything I want to use is never at the house where I am. I woke up with a headache this morning and I would like to use some essential oils to help it, along with the coffee. They are at the other house. I want to shop, and plan meals, and cook. We did plan what we could and would eat today, so I am ahead in that way, but it is not like being creative and healthy. I am so tired of fast food. We have been using gift cards that we bought in advance at the store where we earn points. That has helped money wise, but the food has become boring. Guess I had best get going.

I can imagine being in the process of moving can be very difficult. We don't really have a whole lot of stuff, most of what we do have is necessities, clothes, towels, etc. No knick knacks or decorations. So I have a heck of a hard time with moves. I don't know what can be packed early to be moved because we use everything we have. Mostly we try to get the move done very quickly because we aren't able to live in 2 places at once.

I have not moved in thirty years and various people have lived here and left stuff so although I am not into buying stuff, I get given stuff. I think what you are saying about not being able to pack up the necessities is true of me. I have taken all my clothes over to Florence.

We moved a lot in our twenties. College, military, relocation. I have lived in only three places since 1976 and this is stressing me.

@GardenGerty We've moved quite a bit.. we seem to have moved every 4 years and had a couple places for 2 years or less. Hopefully once we get a house that will be the last move for awhile.

Settling in takes a long time usually and must be much harder when you are still between two places.

I never like fast food. I still prefer to eat food as fresh as possible. I think quality of food is something that we cannot try to cut down. If you have the chance to buy fresh vegetables, and fruits, that will be good. If not, at least buy frozen ones. They are almost as good as fresh ones.

I have a freezer full of frozen vegetables and fresh fruit and veg in the refrigerator, but it is difficult having time and opportunity to cook at this time.

@RasmaSandra I have containers of soup in both freezers. I think it is more not having places to sit, and store dishes, etc. It will be better soon.

@GardenGerty Perhaps you can take some time and make a big pot of soup or stew and then just divide up the portions and freeze them. Then all you have to do is reheat.

This has taken forever, hubby is obsessing about the cat. Before that, he had a hernia surgery. I am just scatterbrained, with thirty years worth of stuff.

Moving is never easy. However, hopefully it won't be too long before you and your belongings are reunited.

I know, I always think how wonderful it will be to eat out all the time until I have to and I get tired of it.
