Ok, I do try to interact but what the heck does one do when there's a oneliner that doesn't lead to a discussion? Like the song says:
Music video, lyrics. http://www.stevewinwood.com/ When life is too much, roll with it, baby Don't stop and lose your touch, oh no, baby Hard times knocking o...

I'm not going to encourage you to write one-liners, so I'm not going to comment on this post - so there! (Stamps foot, hand on hips)!

It's easy, one liners can be ignored and passed over for a better discussion. But then again it depends when I feel like commenting. Haha. Usually I don't but now I just did!

Let me see, why your one liner doesn't lead to discussion. I may be busy. My net may have said ta ta, or there may have been a thunder storm which means power outage here. Come on, I am working...give me a break..

Watt, now you question breaks @vandana7?? It's the most important part of any workers day, we should all have at least 10 of them in the morning and 20 in the afternoons, works for me anyway.

@sofssu @rebelann Sofs is quite correct, dear... I may have been in a hurry to ask you for assistance, but I did read, did not watch the video/never watch the recordings, liked and responded BEFORE asking for assistance... It would have been unforgivably rude of me to do that any other way! .

you're so perceptive. Some seem to miss the point that it has nothing to do with how many words you use but rather that you're having a conversation, be it 1, 2 or more lines. I suppose it should make some kinda sense too though, but really some of what I've responded to and with really didn't.

I think that one liner can not attract too much interaction, unless the line is awfully long or very meaningful.

It is hard to comment on one liner discussion. People should try to be a bit more interesting. To receive visit, you have to interact, or people will ignore you.

So many people who respond to comments say simple things that can't lead to further discussion. It's usually much more interesting if people tease each other or ask more questions or even change the subject, don't you think?

It depends, I guess. Sometimes I respond with a one-liner. When I feel like typing a lot, I respond with more or even start my own sub-discussion . Sometimes I just press "Like" and move on.

Well, yeah, that is what they keep telling me, at any rate, @PainsOnSlate ! Hello, it is nice to meet you! (I'm assuming you were referring to Bubbs, right?) If you ever notice where I have been, you will see that I still write way more than anyone else here thinks is correct... but I am still finding it difficult to cut my writing down to what they consider a manageable level... And yes, I got part of my habit from Bubbs and part of it from WebAnswers. It is hard to change 5 years worth of habits!

I don't know. I like to think I can come up with "something" in response to those one liners - but well, even that may not lead to any discussions either. I think it might help to add a question in there - if they don't answer, either they haven't been around that the notification fell off their list or they didn't even bother to read it! Roll with it - yep, that's all you can do sometimes.

I wasn't going to listen to it either, but did after seeing your reply to Janet. It actually got my feet a-going, but in a different way. I took today off from cashiering and have tried to get a bit of exercise in, so the song helped me march in place while sitting down. I figure that's better than just sitting there anyway.

@rebelann I need to remember to 'chair dance' more just to get more exercise especially when my knee or foot are bothering me; Otherwise, I should be able to do something standing up instead. *(Added). I just realized this post was from two years ago? I didn't realize you were here that long or was that the year I joined? Hmm, I don't really remember anymore.
