I am about to head off to work soon, so wanted to let you all know that I will catch you all later when I get back or tomorrow morning. I am not motivated to go to work today as for some reason I can't seem to feel energized. I am working 4pm to 9pm, so I will be working late today. What are your working shifts like?

I have retired now, but my working day at the company I retired from was totally unpredictable. The type of job that I had made it important to ensure that everything was finished and sorted before I left. As a result I could go to work and finish at 4-39 PM, ort suddenly be in demand and leave at 9 PM instead. This was not a problem to me, so I simply plodded on. The day that I retired was a Friday, which is an early finishing time of 12-30, but I left around 3 PM on that day.

@gudheart Oh yes, I have had some seriously long days at times, but that is all behind me now.

I am disable and haven't worked since 2009. When I was working, my hours were 7am to 4pm.

@gudheart I'm doing fine. At first it was a little difficult because I have worked ever since I was old enough to.

I work home, and I love working at night time, is the most peacefull and quiet moment for me to work. If I worked in an office or other place of course, I would be thinking differently, I am sure

I like working after 5pm but sometimes I get tired quickly as it gets dark earlier

@gudheart Yes, I know what you mean. As for me, this is an habit I acquired when I was a student at the university. You know, long hours of study, and I worked as well, at that time.

I do not work shift. I do not want a job that lets me work different hours every day. I think it is good to have regular shift so that we can sleep and wake up at the same time day after day. Actually I prefer those jobs that allow you to work 12 hours a day, so that you can work on rotating 3 and 4 days a week.

I'm self employed so I don't work shifts. I usually do most of my work in the morning. Evening for me is the time to relax and unwind so I prefer not to do my work in the evening.

@gudheart It is. But of course like any other job it has its challenges.
