Hello friends It's with great pleasure that I would like to inform you that I am starting my LLB on a distance learning programme with the University of London. I am already holder of a Master's Degree in Human Resources from the University of Mauritius. I always had a passion for Law and Justice. Time has come to embrace this challenge. May be, I will be practicing as Lawyer also. This is not my focus for the moment though. For now, I am loving this new body of literature. But of course, a distance course requires a lot of self-study, discipline and commitment. Any advice for me?

Thank you so much. I am going for it. I already applied and got a provisional offer at the University of London. I was reading on something related to Law itself before replying you. I hope I make it though.

I work part-time at a university library (De Montfort, Leicester) and often do duties in the Law Library. We deal with requests from many distance learners, so my advice to you would be to make the best use you can of the library facilities that are open to you online - don't be afraid to ask for help whenever you need it, because that is what the library staff are there for! (As it happens, I began my library career at the University of London!)

This is so amazing John. I am so happy to hear that you started your career at the University of London. I will be coming there personally for my LLB graduation in two years' time. I am currently reading a book entitled 'Studying Law' by Simon Askey. I will be having access to the online library once my application will be approved and this should be in a week's time. But for now, I am reading books that a friend of mine lent me.
