Wednesday's & Friday's

My weeks just seem to be crazy lately. It seems that Wednesdays and Fridays are the only days that I can get any real online work done. The rest of the week I am running errands, paying bills, taking the kids to speech therapy or doctors appointments and of course my own appointments. I have been trying to get all of the doctors appointments out of the way because after the 15th Keith's classes will be full time and he will be gone 5 days a week. Next week and the week of Halloween are going to be easier on me schedule wise. I hope that I am able to get more done here at work due to that.

Even thought I'm retired I still find that I'm busy and have to find time to be online

I know several people who actually complain about retiring because then they feel as if they have nothing to do. It is good that after retirement you kept busy.

@rebelann I would probably feel that way too but I would still work online. My daddy went a little crazy when first retired. He started back to work.

I think a lot of retirees are like me @Shellyann36 simply enjoying the opportunity to finally stay home with the kritters, I don't ever want to have to leave to go to work, it was no fun then and I know it wouldn't be now.

It's been pretty hectic around here.. I'm having a hard time keeping up with everything now that I'm working full-time.

@Shellyann36 I haven't worked full time since before I was 20 years old. Once I got pregnant with the twins I stopped working and have only worked part-time since... until now.

@katsmeow1213 I have not worked full time outside of the home since 2007. I am not sure how I would do at a brick and mortar place. How do you like it?

I understand that. I don't know how I managed making it through working full time and being a divorced mother when my older boys were young..... Oh yah, I do know how, I was 20 years younger!

It is a bit hectic but it has to be done. I am glad I got a chance as well. It is nice to come in here and relax! Keith is taking a machining class for laser operators. It is a 2 year degree and he just started during the summer. He has a way to go.

@rebelann I hope so! I am going to start in the Spring. I am taking dental hygienist classes. I hope it all works out. If I can get the twins in a good pre-school program.

That is so kool @Shellyann36 once he's graduated he should be able to get a really good job so the two of you can finally save for a neat vacation OR whatnot

I dread the weekend at times @LadyDuck My hubby comes up with this big list of things to do that I am so not interested in. It is a pain at times.

@LadyDuck It is as if I have to hold hubby's hand for some reason. Do you have to "help" your hubby or just sit and watch and play gopher for him when he needs something?

I am sorry to hear that you have so many health problems. Of course you could create your own schedule for online work.

That is a bonus for working all of those years @marlina My parents both retired and then both of them went back to work again. Enjoy your schedule.

It is good that you can now relax more. I would like to relax once in a while but I rarely do. One of these days is what I keep thinking.

Wednesdays are the worst. It's not pay day, it's not Friday, and there's still HALF THE WEEK TO GO! It's like your worst ex girlfriend showing up once a week to piss you off lol

That is not strange @Gudheart when you work a regular job you have to use your days off as a day to take care of errands. Honestly when I was working a job outside of the home I was normally too tired to run errands on work days plus most businesses closed before I could get to them (utilities, rental office, etc) so I had to make the most of my days off. Hitting the grocery store and paying the bills were done on those days.

My schedule will slow down a lot after this weekend. I have a three day show and then I can do what I please. Looking forward to no demands on my time. Thanks for the welcome.
