I'm Pink Today

Although you might not think it, with all the pro and college sports teams who where pink as part of their uniforms nowadays, but many men are not brave enough to stand up and wear pink in support of Breast Cancer Awareness. I am not one of those men. I have no problem wearing pink, and today I am covered from head to toe in pink in support of this worthy cause. I don't know if today is a National Breast Cancer Awareness Day, or an official Wear Pink Day, but at least at my work we have designated this as a day to wear pink. I'm getting ready to head into the office soon, and I can't wait to see how many people are wearing pink in support of Breast Cancer Awareness!

I get it but I don't get it. Pink is just a colour. I know it's known as a girly colour but just because a man wears it, doesn't make them any less of a man. But then they would still avoid it even when it's for a good cause?

I guess some guys are not comfortable in pink, Maybe it's an ego thing, maybe they're not sure of their masculinity, or who knows? It doesn't bother me to wear pink. People tell me I look very good in pink. Maybe one day I'll surprise everyone and show up to work wearing a pink dress! haha

But you are a girl, and girls are expected to wear pink. But many guys don't feel comfortable wearing pink. I have no problem wearing pink.

@marlina Yes, I wore a pink shirt today! We had people wear pink shoes, pink socks, pink shirts, pink hats, and pink ties. It was fun to see how creative people got!

@moffittjc I have never understood those "external" signs to support a cause. We can very well support a cause without showing to everybody.

For some reason, "I am pink today" made me think you might have narrated an incident that made you go "pink" but oh well. There is always the next time 
My older brother has no qualms about wearing pink but have issues wearing flowery frilly stuff. The younger one has issues with both. 
This one is more image conscious too.
Well done though! For supporting and being a good support for an important cause like this.
