Would you prefer to go clothes shopping with your partner, friends, or alone?

One danger of buying clothes when your partner is with you is that you will end up buying what they want you to wear rather than what you want to wear! On the other hand, if you buy clothes on your own, you may have to endure their wrath later!
Are friends more forgiving of your choices? Do you appreciate their help - and do they appreciate yours?

I prefer to go shopping by myself. I don't want to drag my friends into shops that they are not interested in. Plus, I am a pretty indecisive person so I take a long time when I'm deciding what to buy. I don't want to force my friends to wait for me while I buy my stuff.

Honestly, I am not good at shopping. I don't know what will look nice or not look nice on me. It is all the way trial and error as far as I am concerned. Sometimes though I get lucky, too lucky. So I keep that pattern for long term. :) So if it was partners, I would have no issues. I usually have only preferences as far as colors and prints are concerned. If my partner selected something he would be selecting based on what I like, and pattern based on what would suit me? Even he can go wrong. That is ok. After all, I am no expert. As to friends, no. They are usually focused on themselves, and will hesitate to tell me that this will not suit you, or may be selecting something based on what actually suits them, having got habituated to such selection. So yes, it is partner rather than me alone or me with my friends.

I prefer to buy clothes alone as I do not want to bore my husband with my shopping. I can also focus on what to choose instead of what my friend will say or what my husband will say.=)

My husband hates shopping but loves clothes and is a snappy dresser. So I really don't mind going shopping with him, even though he does hurry me along. I don't care who I go shopping with, as long as I'm shopping. If they start to annoy me, they can leave me alone and I'd still enjoy shopping on my own.
My husband and I ask each other's opinion, but neither one of us dictates what the other can and can't buy. We also don't have any veto power at all.

I always go together with my family when we are going at the mall to buy some clothes.

I prefer to shop alone. I would not want my companion to get tired or grow impatient because whenever I shop, I shop till I drop.

I don't buy clothes all that often, but when I do, I go by myself, as I am divorced. I never did buy that many either, when I was married. I do enjoy shopping, and I wish I did have someone to do it with, but I will just have to do it on my own.

I would rather buy them with my partner, because SHE is the one who will be judged (for hanging-out with me) by the way I look!

Her critisms are always helpful for me.
