She killed herself! / myLot

How could a young girl like her do that to herself? Just because of a lovers' misunderstanding? My daughter No. 6 said yes. She relayed to me this sad news just minutes ago. I can't deny the pain one has to feel when there are some issues in a relationship, but for her to end her life because of that pains me so much. I feel for the girl's parents, especially her Mom :(

oh dear :( i dunno why folks 'f any age take their own lives, particularly when it comes to matters 'f the heart. a lack 'f copin' skills 'n poor self-esteem perhaps? my deepest condolences to her family, friends 'n classmates. they'll 've to live with the 'what if's'.... big

Thats so sad,my condolences to the family. I can imagine the pain the parents are going through. I wish she got another solution before killing herself. May her soul rest in peace

I even talked long with my daughter No. 6. I asked her if by chance her friend ever tried to talk with her Mama about her problem? Or with any member of her family or with a trusted friend? But all my girl said was, "I have no idea, Mom." :(

@KnehKnah I guess we as parents should talk to our kids often to help avoid such issues. Our advices to them mean alot

@Missmwngi I agree with you, my friend. And because we have 6 kids, I really divide my time for each of them. It will pain me so much if a child of mine is in a terrible situation with me not there to ease her/him out.

That's such a selfish thing to do - she obviously didn't think beyond her own pain, so has left those who loved her with a lifetime of anguish.

Yes, my dear Momma. It's not only her immediate family who will be crying for her but her classmates & friends too. A thought of talking with her boyfriend crossed my mind. But what good will it still do? The girl is gone. So sad.

Acting on impulse is terrible, particularly when it puts an untimely end to a young girl. I feel truly pained.

Maybe, if she shared to a loved one or to a trusted friend about her pain, maybe she was counseled and her outlook on her life was changed. But these are in futility now. All we can do this time is pray for her soul.
