Looks like we need another new car...

(Screams at the top of her lungs until her voice is hoarse)!!! Hubby's car broke down the other night.. he had it towed the next day and the tow truck driver said it sounded like the engine was seized. We hoped that wasn't the case and tried the battery a few more times, researched starter problems, etc. We were hoping and praying for an easy, relatively cheap fix. But the guys at the garage this morning said they thought it was the engine had seized up too.. though they hadn't officially looked at it yet, but that is the probably diagnosis. So, it looks like we're shopping for a new car, again! We've only JUST gotten a new car, less than a month ago. In all technicality the first payment isn't even due yet (though I did already make the first payment, I try to always pay the bills early). With hubby changing jobs next week we aren't even certain we can handle another car payment, but we really have no choice. We've only had his car since February, so that just makes the whole situation that much worse! My luck seriously needs to start changing really soon because I'm not sure I can handle anything else going wrong around here. By the way, our lawnmower died too... but I don't even care about that right now!

I'm sorry to hear about what happened to the car. Life does throw us curveballs every now and then. I hope everything turns out well.

I think you should take the new car to the garage for a check up before buying. Car problems usually come when you can't afford them.

Shouldn't need to do that with a new car... it gets checked out before you buy it.
