Why it hurts me to say goodbye to Bubblews.

I came to know from a Facebook friend that it is possible to earn if you have the knack to write. She taught me how to log-in to Bubblews & find my way in.
It was exciting, especially when I started to meet people there who were from different countries!
I had the fun of my life as I began reading & learning about culture, practices & relationship as those were written so well & so entertaining. Many nights, I was up, not writing much but just reading, smiling, laughing, crying, wondering, getting mad & all emotions popping up as I read posts.
Then, I found my day was not complete if I will not log-in to Bubblews.
That went on & on for months. The joy was always there! More, when paypal said Bubblews sent me cash!
The money Bubblews sent me brought happiness to me & my loved ones. We offered a Thanksgiving Mass out of it before spending each cent of it on needs of our kids.
Then the changes happened.
It was disturbing for me because the thousands connections I had decreased in number so fast! I learned later that those were the plagiarists & scammers.
But, when I can no longer see some of my dear friends as I logged-in again, I started asking why?
Some, explained in their behalf. Accordingly, they left the site because they were not paid, that they were deceived, etc. I haven't been paid by Bubblews too. In fact, I also waited for the P25kplus that it said will send me. That amount did not reach me.
But I still went back to Bubblews & wrote & had fun with dear friends there. Tho' there are just 25 or lesser of them now.
Twas sad for me. I still wished those who left will still come back. But, until now, they haven't.
I missed them.
But I am still happy because a few of the thousands I used to have are still there.
That's why it hurts me to say goodbye to Bubblews.

I was debating or not to leave, but looks like they have made it easier for me to decide. I haven't completely severed the ties as I still poke my head in every now and then (well, whenever I am able to get it). The thing is, we aren't able to function there properly, and there is no way I will ever make it to payout they way it is going. And then we're not even sure we will ever get compensated anyway (sorry, I've had enough of that). Thank goodness for myLot though. A bunch of people from the other place have migrated here and we are happy here - we've been able to reunited with friends, have a good time, and will get paid when we get there. Oh, by the way, I was SmilePie at the other place!

@KnehKnah I recognized you right away! I have to reintroduce myself because people won't know who I was. I used to be on this site before the other place - so it was a name I already had. I guess I could change it to SmilePie - but I just want to leave that name over there. I'm sure you will find many friends here! Yah, I think I just might be able to redeem over there the same year as you!!

It's nice to meet you here too, my dear SmilePie! I retained my username & avatar there because I know you'll easily recognize me thru these. Been meeting some former dear friends there, here. I hope to meet more of them!
Re, payout in Bubblews. I think, in case it regains its glory, I might be able to redeem in 2018.

Bubblews was my first writing site although i dunno how to write. I just push even i am not good in English grammars. I paid twice only and i lost $170 which i earned for three months. Now the site is silent and i lost my interest. But on the other side i thanks bubblews because i meet virtual friends there including you Ate @Knehknah

Same thing with me, my dear Neneng Dhel. And, even if I am so at home now in myLot, Bubblews will still be my No. 1 home in the virtual writing world. Re, being not good writers. We will all be. Maybe we will never be as good as most of our friends but we will get better. All we need is time.

I'm not quite an ex-Bubbler yet but I don't spend too much time there anymore. It saddens me that they let such a wonderful site go. Good to see everyone here.

I understand your feeling. Your experience is also the experience of all of us. Bubblews was once a lovely place to stay and the friendship we built there is just so hard to just leave, but we can't keep working and allow the cheaters to earn from us. We can always transfer to a place where we don't get cheat and can still enjoy each other.

Sigh. Those were the days. I left not because I didn't get paid (I received every single payment) but because there were so many issues and I just couldn't see any future with that site. Plus, most of the people I know are no longer there.

'tis most sad indeed 'n i'm grateful fer the opportunity it gave - i'd ne'er met yerself 'n some others that i hold so dear. seems the plagiarists 're rampant once more. i jest left there myself 'n flagged 4 from the 'latest' page :( all were new accounts, jest started today so hopefully they'll be tended to quickly.
call me stubborn, but i aint givin' up'n the place yet. i dislike how they've treated folks, due to their own inability to run a business proper - but there's still some've my flowers left in the garden 'n those i shall not abandon.

Re, Bubblews. I can't stop myself from not visiting it. Just like what you said, it was where we met & became like family. And we still have our dear friends there, waiting for a better Bubblews.
I hope it will still come true.

I'm not ready to say goodbye to Bubblews. As long as they don't shut down the site, there's still hope that they might start paying again. I like the blog-type atmosphere there.
