Do you write poems and collect them?

This is one of the Poem Collections I have during my College Years. I started writing poems since high school and I decided that I should collect one and might share it someday. Well I guess this is the right moment. HE WAS He was my sunshine He was my knight He was the ache of my heart He was the only one I want But then, things changed things are complicated things are broken by tides things are destroyed by pride He never said goodbye he just left in a snap like a bubble that popped into the sky He left me with a broken heart He left me with a lost pride And left me blinded by his love And I've been asking myself What is he? Where is he? How is he? Who is he? A part of my past that meant to be forgotten and lose its purpose in my life..... Poem #10 Copyright 2014

Everyone loves poems and poetry and you can always find some meaning in most of what you read. I feel it is a great way to express your feeling at the time. But I also find that many people write more poetry when they have lost a love one, broken a relationship, or ended a marriage. St times I love the happy and lively poems or the ones for Halloween. I love to write Halloween poems and my granddaughter says I am the spook behind Halloween and I rock. OK but I do love Halloween poems and especially to write them.

@Arbene It is a poem that has "features of interest" despite its technical faults - I'm not 100% with the imagery for example. I especially like the questions at the end that hint that the speaker still cares. Love has clearly not turned to hate, although in many poems of this nature that is the overall theme.

I actually wrote a poem yesterday - the first time for a long time! Someone on another site asked for my help and I ended up writing a poem based on her themes. When you start editing someone else's poem, that is what tends to happen!

I love poetry too. I used to be active on a website publishing my simple works. Didn't get paid enough though, lol. There's little money in poetry, unless it' s ones' passion, you will never have the patience of composing poems.

as for me, it drives my creative thinking.:) I really don't understand why most of these "ARTISTS" are like that.
