Making A New Batch Of Carrot Muffins

My Own Muffins

I ran out of homemade muffins a few days ago and now it's time to stop procrastinating and make a new batch. This time I am going to add more grated carrots and more chocolate chips in the batter. The last time I think I forgot to put the salt in as they were missing something. So I will have to focus more when I make those muffins today. Do you sometimes forget an ingredient in your recipe?

Nothing like a good muffin! Never tried carrot ones, but o do enjoy the more savoury rather than sweet ones. You put chocolate in with the carrots?

@marlina but doesn't that take away from the savoury flavour?

@valmnz The muffins do not taste the carrots.

Yes, I have forgotten something in things I have made. What is it like with the chocolate chips in the carrot muffin?

@marlina That is interesting so do you taste a combination of the carrot part and chocolate chips equally?

I love carrot cake and muffins, they're delicious! I did forget to put ingredients a few times but lucky it didn't make the dish turn out bad or anything.

That's good that your missing ingredient did not ruin the taste of the recipe.

I love making muffins. They're so much easier than a cake and I like the individual portions

Okay, those look delicious! I've never made carrot muffins, but I think I need to find a recipe and make a batch over the weekend. I bet they'd be fun to make with the rainbow carrots my daughter loves.

It happens, I remember the day I forgot the baking soda, they did not look really inviting.

Salt is an important ingredient in baking. I've never been a carrot cake fan, so I probably would not like carrot muffins. Now chocolate or chocolate chip is a different story.

Not often because I am useless at cooking unless I strictly follow the instructions!
