How do I find all the responses to my discussions

I have over 40 responses to one of my discussions, and I have comments that I need to do, and I can't find the responses to the beginning of my discussion. I know it is probably something simple, but I just haven't figured it out, as I figured there would be page numbers so that I can find them that way. I want to be able to catch up on all responses that have been posted. If anyione knows how to access all responses, I would certainly appreciate it.

It should be like the discussion lists, with additional responses appearing as you scroll down. If not, let myLotBugs know you're having an issue with it.

Thank you for letting me know this. I have never had so many responses, and I wanted to be able to see them all, so I can make sure I have commented on all of them, as I don't want to miss any. Thank you again.

@rosekiss You're very welcome! It's a bit confusing compared to the old system with pages to browse through. I really hope they do away with this infinite scrolling thing sometime soon... it doesn't always work properly on mobile devices.

@PhredWreck There should be an easier way to get to them now, but since they changed it, I will just have find them another way.

@birjudanak You just have to try to make your discussion as interesting as you can. There really isn't any way to teach you, as you have to learn it on your own, as I have, and others have.

I always would just go to my discussions and see if there were responses while i slept . Going through it on the notifications would be tedious .

I use the notifications to catch up, but I had accidentally deleted a notification thinking I had had one it, and I didn't know where they were ar, and that is the reason for this discussion. I have since found all the responses and comments, and took care of them, as I don't like leaving any of them. I ended up scrolling plus checked all the comments that don't show up lik showing more commeents.

@SIMPLYD Yes, I finally got them taken care of. I scrolled as well as used the show more coments and view more comments, or something like that. I had accidentally deleted the notification on it, so I wasn't sure where to find it, hence this discussions. I do appreciate all the help I have been given, as it all very much appreciated.

@rosekiss Have you opened Show more comment in each one's boxes of comments . They will show the previous comments even the un-liked and un-commented ones yet .

I am not sure there is any easy way to go about finding one specific response if you deleted the notification. I know I have missed some before, and saw them when someone else made a comment. If you know what discussion it was on, then you can always go through, the 'show more comments' to see where you might have missed it. That might take some time though.

It is the discussion, that has lots of comments and close to 50 responses. It was daunting at first, but did exactly what you said, and I caught them up. It just scrolled through the whole discussion checking the comments to make sure I didn't miss anymore, and I didn't except for the two I missed earlier, and now they are done too. Whew, what a rush.

@TexanTornado I deleted them thinking I had done them, but I hadn't. Well, at least I have them done now, and that is a good thing. I was getting so many notifications pop up while I was doing others, I got totally confused, for sure.

@rosekiss Ok, well I am glad you found them. It is a bit of work when you don't have the notification to help you.

I did explain what I do in our conversation on this subject on your last post. I get to them via the responder's own activity list.

I found them all, but scrolling, as I went through them all, and when I saw my username, I would comment back. I only missed about two, so that is great beings how many I got from the discussion in the first place.

@jaboUK Those sneaky little invisible links. No wonder I didn't do so well with that when I tried it out last night. That will work well when I have discussions with loads of responses and comments like you probably get. For now, I can normally ferret things out by hunting them down one by one. Also, for those members that visit with bunches of people per day, it could take a longer time just looking for our discussions on their activity list. But, it would save time if we can get at them immediately or close enough to that.

I am glad that you are liking mylot. It certainly is a lot of fun, and it really keeps one busy throughout the day. I finally got the discussion taken care of though, as far as the comments and responses are concerned, as I don't like leaving them when people took the time to respond and comment back.

I'll just open my profile and select discussions to go to my posts to see for real time the responses to the posts. I don't rely much on notifications which could be confusing at times.

I do check the notifications, as I don't want to miss any responses or comments, as it does help, but like you said it can certainly be confusing. I will just check the show more comments, and keep scrolling and looking to see if I missed any. It is easy to miss a few especially when you get a lot of responses which I did on the one discussion. I have 52 right now, and more keep responding, which gives me more commetns to do. I finally got them all though.

Rose? I have a question for you. Hmmm... okay, let me set the scene first then I'll ask my question. When I came to the first thread that you started and I responded to your starting statements. After I finished, I looked at the response left by the someone else and decided to respond to it. Then I look at the next comment left by someone and I responded to it... (Are you with me so far?) Now, my question for you is this: When you scroll down your thread, commenting to the people on your discussion... Do you respond to what I wrote to someone else? Or do you ignore the comment I wrote if I didn't address you specifically? I look at what was written on my thread (or your thread or anyone else's thread) and I talk to anyone, even if they were not talking to me. I have been told I shouldn't do that as that person wasn't talking to me... But I think I should be able to join any conversation and talk to anyone on that thread if they say something I want to talk about. So far, nobody has gotten even a little upset over me doing that. Have you seen anyone get upset about it? I am just curious, Rose. Thank you for letting me bug you and ask questions. I loved it when you answered my questions a couple of days ago and I am sure I will learn a lot from any answers you feel like giving me today, hon!

If I see a comment that was meant for someone else, I don't comment back. I really don't know if is right or wrong, but to be onthe safe side, I just comment back to those that are meant for me.I have never noticed anyone get upset about it that i know of. Thank you for taking the time to respond.

I figured it out finally, as i had some that I neeeded to comment back to, and I had accidentally deleted the notification without doing it. I was frantic, so that is why I starrted this discussion, and I have received lots of help, and for that I am so thankful. I don't like leaving responeses or comments without taking care of them.

@rosekiss oh I'm sorry to know that. Maybe @myLotBugs can help you out. By the way, you are such a great myLot member for answering all the comments in your discussions. I salute you for that. Maybe I have to do that too here and I started it now hehehe.

I have since figured out how to find them. i just scrolled and found them that way, but going to show all comments and view all comments, or whatever it says. Anyway, I got the ones commented on that I missed. I am so glad that I did too, as I don't like to leave any comments go.

Thank you for your advice, but is it true that we can get 40 responses for our discussions?

Yes it is possible to get that many and more. One of my discussions has 66, so it is very possible. It just depends on whether it is interesting enough to get enough responses for it. If users can relate to it, then they will respond, and if not, they won't. So, as you can see, it depends on you, as you can get a few or a lot.

@hiru84 Just don't give up, as you can do it. I have some that do't have all that many either, but I just keep going and I won't give up. When one discussion may not get all that many, the next one will. You have to think about it that way.
