The last two months, my 2 years old baby often sleep around 11 pm and wake around 8 am. While during the day she slept about 2 hours. Is this normal for a 2 years old baby go to sleep too late? What should I do to change her sleeping pattern? What time a 2 years old baby should sleep at night?

My baby who is 1 year and ten month old usually sleeps around 7pm to 10pm. Sometimes he wakes up 3am or late 6am. He only sleep around 6 hours of sleep but then he has another second batch of long sleep in the afternoon.

As long as I know, a 1 year old baby up to 5 years old baby should have 10 hours of sleep. Actually, my 2 years old baby still has around 10 hours of sleep, but I feel stress when she go to bed at 11 pm at night, I tired already to looked after her, while I have to wake up in the morning at 5 am. I feel lack of sleep.

My four and two year old are in bed by 8. I know parents with kids the same age. For the most part it seems to be around the same time. I think there's one exception. This girls goes to bed around 11. She also has three siblings who are teens and go to bed around that time. Personally I feel it's kind of late for a kid that age, but each family is different. I think at the end of the day you have to judge for yourself. Do what you think is best.

It's pretty normal. Babies that age are still adjusting and regulating to normal sleep cycles and depending where they are on their growth timeline, they could wake more or less frequently. Sometimes they'll sleep better or worse for a week or two, then swap to the opposite. Really, as frustrating as it is, it is normal. I have a two year old and she still routinely wakes through the night. We've nights are better than others!

Ah, it's been a while since my kids were at that age... I can't quite remember what their habit were - but yeah, 11pm sounds pretty late for a toddler...
