That's what I've been eating for the past few days. I've choked down some scrambled eggs and other things, but peppermint tea and dry burnt toast agree with my cold-ravaged body. They unstuff my nose and settle my stomach.
Do you have a go to snack for when you're sick?

That sounds like it's chock full of really nutritious foods. I might having trouble digesting it when I'm sick though.

@NeldaHoxie This is not dry. This is soup and the onions are sliced very small and the chicken is only for flavoring. you don't need to eat it if you don't want to but it's really good and very nutritious

Tomato soup is always good for anything that ails me. Tomato basil soup is really yummy.

No real suggestions just empathy. I am on day nine of one of the worst head colds of my life. I feel like it's never going to get better.

My husband says that the carbon from burnt toast works like charcoal tablets and absorbs the junk in your stomach. I don't know if it's true or not, but he always gives it tom me.

I just eat a lot of citrus fruits, plenty of water and rest. Take care.

Oranges are a refreshing choice. Sometimes the acid doesn't set well with me though.

Chicken broth is a must for me. I seems to help all sorts of ailments. And it is so easy to cook!

I always eat toast or just a bowl of cereal. I hope you feel better soon. I love saline spray for a stuffy nose.
