I hate winter but I do love the holiday's.I already am looking through new and old recipes trying to decide what I want to bake for Thanksgiving and Christmas. I like trying new recipes and throwing in a few old favorites too. Cookies,cakes,pies,breads and candy making too.My favorite thing to do. Are you a baking nut too?

For those of you unfamiliar with Patti - she is being modest - she is the queen of baking. Wait until she shares some of her recipes! She also knows I"m a 'box mix baker'. LOL

I have to cook meals for everyone, every day. But I bake because I want to, and I enjoy it much more than cooking.

I do like to bake, but have been lazy over the summer and need to replenish my baking cupboard, have run out of all the essentials.
