“I am a Sailor, I been in to many places, from East to West, from North to South. I saw the world! And I discovered one thing….. Home is the most beautiful place on earth." This is exactly the message written on a photo that was shared today by a Sailor friend in his Facebook account. Indeed, no other place could be more beautiful than our home. Thank God I have a home and I need not work far away from home.

My son was polishing off the chicken yesterday saying no food tastes like home food.. He will be at the university preparing for his exams which means that his weekend trips won';t happen until the end of November. I guess all the known and loved things makes the house a home.

yes home is most beautiful place because where ever you go in this world you like there 2 days days or may be 1 months but then you remember your home and miss so much because there someone is waiting for you nay be your mom dad father sister or whole family and true joy only feel with family.you also miss home food which you not get there and you feel totally relax after reach home.

Okay. I get the sentiment, but as someone who enjoys travel, I can tell you that I have found more beautiful places in the world than the spot I chose for home. There are other factors to consider besides beauty. For lovely, several of the beaches along the coast of South Africa beat those in SoCal. But, for lifestyle and safety, I'm staying in on the California coast.

I got your point @ElizabethWallace. Indeed if we will take the word beautiful from the physical aspects, our place of abode can't compare to those grand places we have visited, but as I understand, my sailor friend used "beautiful" in another sense. It is more than what our eyes could see, but rather what the deepest part of our heart could feel. It is the joy of being with his loved ones again, it is the peace and comfort of being in his own familiar place, the sweet embrace of his little ones, the caring hands of her wife, the happiness of being able to carry and play with his pet dog again, the excitement of running with his children in his backyard, the delightful meals only his wife could cook. The joy of making sweet memories again with the people he valued most. I believe all these and more make his home the most beautiful place for him.
