My husband has been having some aches and pains in his legs. He walks a lot in his retail job and he notices these aches as he lays down on the couch and to sleep. He learned on the internet the other day about the benefits of the seasoning Turmeric. He read that it can reduce swelling, it is good in fighting against Alzheimer's and Cancer. So he found a recipe that people have used. You mix turmeric, olive oil, black pepper and a bit of water together to make a paste. Once this is done, the paste can be put into foods to give the foods that healthful nutritional boost. The paste taken by itself is quite bitter, so it needs to be mixed with foods (some like mixing it with sweeter foods). But, I am sure if you can endure the bitter taste, you could eat a little off a spoon once or twice a day. I will let you all know if it helps with my husband's achy legs.

I like a doctor's opinion for things like that just to make sure its nothing serious.

That is true, he does need a physical. It has been over a year since his last one.

@LeaPea2417 When my foot swelled I looked up what might be causing it - and when they said heart failure I knew it was time to go to the doc and get the truth.

He is not on any medications at the moment that could interact with the turmeric.
