Where Does The Time Go

It has been mad here in the office since 11 o'clock this morning and we just can not work out where the last four and a half hours have gone. We have been bombarded with calls, had several client visits and lots of information we have been waiting has come in all in the last few hours. Thankfully things have quietened down again but with only an hour left of the working day there is still lots to do. The time certainly does fly on days like this, I just hope tomorrow is a nice quiet one so we can all catch up.

Time moves constantly but due to relativity and time dilation, it appears to flow differently in different situations. For example, if you have nothing to do and are sitting idle, you will probably see time passing slowly but if you are busy in some work, time appears to pass quicker. This is a normal process.
The trick here is to prioritize. If you want to do something urgent and you know that the phone calls will distract, you can skip attending them if those are not relevant. The time does not go anywhere. It seems to travel vastly depending on situations.

Sounds like a whirl wind. I hope you get a reprieve tomorrow.

I'm not sure "reprieve" was really the right word, but being too busy can feel like a punishment.
