Well actually it is a 2 1/2 year old grandbabe..My Son asked him a week ago if he wanted to talk on the phone to Grandma Rose and now every night he won't go to sleep unless he calls me and tells me about his day in daycare.
I love hearing his new little changes and him saying i love you with a kiss in the phone.
My Son only gets him Tuesday and Thursday and then every other weekend
Well the shocker is tonight i got a phone call from a strange number and it turned out to be his mama's number..
I am happy she decided to finally allow me to talk to my grandson..I've only saw him 4 times in real life. He is our miracle Christmas baby so i'm happy tonight.
Maybe i've finally gotten my wish of seeing him soon..I sure hope so.

@Rosekitty On a second thought, I will not leave him or her at your place....
I will bring him or her along and we all will spend great time together. S/he will also get to know that cupboard that has been my relaxing place

As you know, we have no kiddos in this household. However, since late July when the roomie's nephew and family moved to Kansas, she's talked with him on the phone more than she ever talked to him here. No, we can't run out to see the kids, both generations, like we did before, but the nephew is making sure that his kiddos don't forget their great aunt.

@Rosekitty well, the nephew has told the roomie she was a better mother than his mother (very short trip.)

sounds like he insisted on talking to grammie before bed and his mother gave in, at that age, they can be quite insistent, and honestly, that's not a harmful thing for him to be insistent on, rather than say, demanding icecream at midnight or something
