English movies are helpful for beginners or not ?

I have learned english for two years, still have many problems with listening and spreaking. I was told to watch english movies, but I'm not sure is helpful or not. Because I can't follow the speed and many unfamiliar words. can you share your efficient methods of learning second language?

I STRONGLY advice listening to English movies, and TV, it really, really helps. It is not a waste of time.

I agree with you. I don't know about others but I can speak for myself and I can easily say that they have helped me a lot, yes.
