The sound of the rain

It is 9 pm in my place which is near to my bedtime.
While using Mylot, I distinctly near the sound of the rain.
The sound seems very far off, but it is approaching my house.
Since we are facing extremely hot and dry weather for this month, I welcome the rain.
The rain is not welcome only when it happens in the morning.

Singaporeans never experience a lack of water for the past 30 or more years.
I cannot remember a time when we have to ration water.
We have seawater deslination plant, and waste to energy plant, and we buy water from other country.
Water is expensive, but we never lack water.

@scheng1 it's a fortune. In comparison we experience it in our country sometimes very severe hardships even. Is this successful to have a seawater deslination plant in our country as we have sea all over the country ????

@kevinakash It costs money to build a seawater desalination plant, and it costs money to bring it to the home of people.
It all depends on how much the government wants to spend, and how much it will charge the people later on for getting the water.
