Saw a commercial for beauty products, Birch Box, just $10 a month, you get 5 products personally selected for you. "Beauty on your own terms". Exactly how is getting 5 products that somebody else chose sent to me every month on auto pay "on my own terms"? Seriously, I'm not going to get into another stupid auto pay thing that I have to remember to cancel.

How will you personally select the products? Online or some print catalogue? If not, don't do it.

I got the impression the company selects for you. You probably fill out some questionnaire, like skin color, eye color, etc., and then they pick.

I would avoid something like that without a second thought.

It's not exactly a scam, but it's a business practice that really annoys me.

Um...is this a rhetorical question? You're a woman, I know I am just supposed to agree and keep my mouth shut, but which part am I supposed to agree with?

It's probably great if you're into that, but honestly it would mostly just gather dust here.

Are they going to email you the catalogue or do a survey on the phone or something? If not I don't see how that's supposed to be "personally selected" either.

I'm guessing you fill out a questionnaire so they have your skin type, hair color, etc.
