Diner for a dieter. The suffering of it all.

I am wondering what will I have for diner that is yummy, filling and diet also. Maybe I´m asking too much. I had a leftover cold chicken thigh ( part of it). I found a small cooked potato, but that´s carbs. I could brew some nice tea to take to my bed and drink until my tummy gets filled up. I could eat a banana although I´d be happier if I added some condensed milk to it Why don´t kilos just go away without so much suffering? This is my third day of dieting. Will I get acostumed to it?

This amount of kilos is not good for my health. I don´t "look" too overweight, but my knees and tummy hurt.

The most effective diet I went on is not to eat any processed food. Basically eat whatever you like, just the fresh alternative. Cut out things like sausages, burgers (unless you make it from minced beef yourself), chips, fries (ok to eat potatoes), sugar cereals, soda drinks (fresh fruit juice instead). Basically your body metabolise processed foods worse than normal ingredients. So less processed food more fresh alternatives.

@Drosophila The doctor told me that diet with little carbs and fat would help a lot. It doesn´t mean NO carbs either.

@marguicha oh sorry to hear that! The "like" was about the no process food, as opposed to the diagnoses :( Hope the condition can be mitigated.

I have only been behaving for 3 days. I hope to do it for at least 2 weeks, but I wouldn´t count on it.

I used to have such a body until I started chemo when I was diagnosed with a lymphoma. Chemo took all the energy from me. I only ate and slept with some mylotting between that (the old mylot). I gained pounds and most of all fat.

@Missmwngi The lymphoma is on remission. It cannot be entirely healed. But I´m living each day the best I can and don´t make plans for the far away future.

@marguicha Oooh sorry for that,i hope you got healed. You can diet for sure and get back the acceptable weight but much commitment is needed. I can only wish you the best
